Morangup is located at its most western point, 55 kilometres from Perth Western Australia, in the beautiful Avon Valley bordering on the Avon Valley National Park. The historic township of Toodyay is another 30 kilometres to the east. Residents of Morangup enjoy a semi rural lifestyle on their farms, whilst many commute to their work places in the city or neighbouring towns. The area supports a diverse range of agricultural activities including growing grapes and citrus, olives, herbs, grain and stock feed. Looking after animals is a favourite pastime in Morangup, alpacas & llamas, horses and cattle of all breeds, dogs, cats, goats and sheep to name just a few. School children and Students are bussed to and from schools in neighbouring areas.

- Rubbish collection every Wednesday
- Community Hall available for hire for community and private functions

- Social Craft Group 1st & 3rd Tues 10 – 12.30
- Self-defence Every Wed 6.30 – 7.30pm
- Playgroup Wed 9.30 – 11.30am
- Dancing Fri 4.30 – 7pm
